We are seeking an IFS Developer at our Company headquarters in Brookville, PA. This position, reporting to the IT Director, is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support of the company’s IFS Applications environment. This role will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT staff to deliver effective solutions that improve business processes, system functionality, and data integrity. The IFS Developer ensures that enterprise technology supports company goals for efficiency, productivity, and growth. This position reports directly to the IT Director.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement modifications and customizations within the IFS platform.
  • Build and maintain reports, workflows, APIs, and system interfaces.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide support for IFS system issues, including troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and testing activities.
  • Ensure system data integrity, security, and compliance with IT standards.
  • Maintain documentation for technical solutions, system processes, and customizations.
  • Recommend system improvements and automation opportunities to support business efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IFS Applications development and support.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database development.
  • Experience with IFS Aurena, IFS Apps 10, or IFS Cloud.
  • Experience with integration tools such as IFS Connect, REST, SOAP, and APIs.
  • Background in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of supply chain, production, and financial processes is a plus.
  • Experience supporting ERP system upgrades and large-scale deployments.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel between plant locations, as needed. Limited overnight travel may be required (less than 10%).
