Job Summary

The Paint Utility position requires hanging unpainted parts on racks for the coating process. Unloading coated parts and assisting in the packaging process. Reading prints, claiming, tracking, tagging correct parts along with masking and plugging tasks in accordance with part specifications.  This position will also perform primary cleaning operations by using air to blow abrasive media from blasted parts.

Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience: No experience required.  Willing to train the right candidate.

  • Ability to effectively communicate/present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints/technical drawings.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Cross train on everything.
  • Help wherever needed.
  • ISO regulations are understood and adhered to for all quotes, orders, revisions and any other related correspondence. 
  • Market and customer data are maintained for easy access & understanding. 
  • Interaction with Sales, Engineering and Production staffs is conducted professionally & effectively.

Personal Protection Equipment (As required in production area).  All personal protection equipment will be provided with the exception of steel-toed footwear.
